Who we are

The Bertolino farm was born from the passion of two brothers

for the own territory.

A territory, that is western Sicily and in particular the Lilibetan area, exceptionally suitable for viticulture which experiences its maximum splendor with the production of Marsala, which today is, unfortunately, going through a period of crisis with the consequent and progressive abandonment of the fields cultivated. 

The first choice derives from this innate and marked dedication to the protection and enhancement of the territory and that is to produce a wine with low environmental impact, opting for the craftsmanship  of many works in the vineyard, without the aid of agricultural machinery. Furthermore, again for the same reason, we choose to fully embrace the organic agriculture and winemaking regime without the aid of selected yeasts.
